Atlus is cool
Apr. 25th, 2015 11:04 pmSo are friends who will let you play your vidja games. (I actually got 9 hours of sleep last night so I got a lot more than everyone else, but I'm still a little out of it. And not looking forward to the grind for Monday. That's school for you though.)
>You played Raidou Kuzunoha vs King Abaddon for about five hours (?) today.
>One of the first things you did was name your main character Johei Kujo. You felt really proud of yourself for that one, since you read somewhere Johei is his canon real name, but there's no canon last name, so there you have it. Awesome reference to another character who never removes his hat.
No camera pics, sadly (I forgot to grab it). I apparently can't normal controller, and therefore couldn't properly dodge (or block). I'll never be an expert. (I died so many times trying to get through the freaking tutorial because I can't dodge. Except when I do it on accident. It's so much easier in Secret World, but that's because I'm used to using a computer, not a controller. There's too much for me to keep track of. I can't all the buttons.) And both Tam Lin and Alraune died on my last try. But I did finally make it through, and I might've gone through a lot of medicines but I was making real progress.
I love Narumi, the dork. And I like the investigation meetings, even though I didn't really need them because I was following the plot, but it kind of showed that he's not just the lazy guy who makes you do all the legwork, he is a legit detective with brains.
Sadly I couldn't hear much of the music because of the tournaments. Ah well.
I got Tam Lin back shortly before the event ended, which was sad, but not much you can really do about that. Focused a lot on sword (and kind of spammed triangle). Also wasn't much good at giving demons commands during battle (especially since I was out of mag 80% of the time). I ended up spending a lot of time maxing loyalty (since I forgot to have the Pagan-order demon for the story event, and remembered I'd have to have a Skill-order demon too, so just ended up maxing and fusing for a while, which mainly involved running in circles next to the Dragon Cave for somewhere between 1/2 an hour to an hour).
Pixies tended to be ridiculously nice to me (or, on a few occasions, slapping me in the face). So I ended up using Pixie a lot. Johei was respectful of Koropokkur, but really latched on to Tam Lin for some reason. Maybe the fact that they're both respectful and kind of calm warriors (at least as portrayed by SMT).
He chased Tatsumi into the Shadow Realm, but then ran back to the Detective Agency because I kind of forgot to pick up the Case Files after the owner of the Soda Joint mentioned he was going to send them along. And that's where I left off.
Fun times.
