           Tony frowns at the screen.  “You’re telling me there’s another leather-clad cat-man somewhere?  I’m stealing someone else’s shtick.  Does he pull off the costume like I do?”
           “The name and a photo are listed in the SHIELD database under ‘Black Panther’, although the individual has only been seen in Wakanda,” JARVIS replies, pulling up the information as requested.  “As for the rest, I am not really in a position to judge.”
           “Home of Ye Olde Vibranium.  Which probably means those claws are vibranium, too.”  Tony’s eyes light up.  “I wonder how well his skills would work against Catastrophe.”
           “Given your current situation, sir, I would recommend you not test your luck.”  That’s one of JARVIS’s driest tones, and, honestly?  It’s great.
           “Love you too, J.”  He glances back at the screen and absent-mindedly grabs at his coffee cup without even looking.  He accidentally knocks it off the table but doesn’t even notice.  “Maybe he’s got some clues about this whole ‘this is all supposedly magic’ thing.  He’s got a degree so he at least speaks a language that makes sense…”

This fic was born from a need to have everyone on the cast get hugs after the Fall of Sunnydale especially because they all are precious and they all have PTSD and they need comfort.

Notes: Xander's been messing with different dimensions for a while.  Mostly just video, though he had visited the Armored Adventures Tony at some point, so he did know how to physically travel between them before then.  It's just that there was so much to do on either side of the dimensional divide that neither could make the excuse to leave before now.  He's actually decently close with an MCU!verse Tony and an Armored Adventures Tony, mostly because they were the easiest to contact and he's been talking to them for a while.  Also because he was reluctant to mess with too many dimensions because he wasn't sure that wouldn't make the universe explode, and that would be of the bad.
