I'm actually kind of mad that they dropped the whole Xander has a skateboard thing after the pilot. I mean, skateboarding away from a horde of demons on a skateboard is a really cool image.  Plus you could pull that move from Judgement where you kick from a stakeboard into some hostile's face?  There are all sorts of neat character things that you could do with it.  Instead they just used it as a gag.
