Thoughtful and well-informed. Relatively rare that he panics. Honestly, you’ll probably learn more about the backgrounds of the games from Lotus Prince than most other youtubers. Further, there’s a recap of what happened in the video at the end, which I find honestly actually interesting. It’s relatively rare that the youtuber considers things that have happened earlier in the video out loud, other than possibly a mention in the overall look at the game at the end of the series. Also, Jojo’s fan. Also plays a lot of really bad games at times, but it’s genuinely fun to watch him play (even though I wouldn’t want to play some of them), because unlike some youtubers who force themselves through even when they’re not enjoying themselves, the Prince is selective and only plays goofy/dumb games he enjoys. Case in point: current LP is Resident Evil Gaiden, and he's enjoying himself.
Recommended Games:
Ø Honestly most of them.
Ø Zone of the Enders—A classic mecha game. I hope he plays the sequels (and, honestly, the gameplay is amazing/more like what an Iron Man game should handle like).
Ø White Day/White Day Remake—A kid wants to give a White Day present to the girl of his dreams and ends up trapped in a nightmare at school instead. I honestly think this is how I found him, so there might be a nostalgia factor there. The super calm approach is honestly cool, though.
Ø Rule of Rose—Problematic controls, interesting to watch. Survival horror, vaguely a mix of Clock Tower and Haunting Ground, kinda? Lots of bullying-type horror (as well as the more usual Silent-Hill type adult horror.
Ø Baroque—Freaking bizarre (like, honestly, probably even more than Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure; reminds me, in some ways, of Twin Peaks). I’m glad I have him to narrate over the game to even try to understand what’s going on.
Ø Titanic: Secrets of the Fateful Voyage—A super weird exploration/point-and-click that’s…well. If it gives you any idea, he spends most of the time wrestling with the sociopathic main character you’re playing as. Has to be seen to be believed.
Ø Stonekeep: Bones of the Ancestors—This is a Wii game. I look forward to his Wii game playthroughs, because there are some honestly (quirky is the nice way to put it) games in the Wiistore that I had no idea existed. This one’s a D&D sort of game, but is super janky and weird.
Ø Galerians—People Experiment on Teen, Reap What they Sewed. This feels like an anime.
Ø Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven and All-Star Battle Secret Missions. It’s a Jojo’s love letter fanfic, basically, and his reactions (especially to a specific character appearing in a character in Part 13) are golden.
Ø Target: Terror—Over the top rail gun shooter. Schwarzenegger wouldn’t be out of place.
Ø Mad Dog McCree—Rail gun shooter, this time over the top Western. Ridiculous, but fun.
