(tarot-wise, I think Klavier's generally the upright Magician, while Kristoph had been the reversed Magician.  Both *could* be good at manipulating people, though Klavier generally doesn't bother and isn't as controlling.  The whole multi-talented thing, the intelligence, the so-called 'ease', resourcefulness, etc is very him.  hence the cut.
can anyone guess what they're watching?)

(also may not be canon compliant.  I haven't seen anything on AA6 because I kind of want it to be blind whenever I actually get around to the game.)

Main Points:
Ace Attorney
Summary: Klavier is a giant nerd.  (Technically, this is the kind of work that I could do for the AO3 celebration thingie if, y'know, I wasn't trying to finish off Shadowed Suspicion before I post anything else over there.)
Word Count: 795

“Dammit, you gotta stop doing that,” Apollo startles a little as Klavier vaults over the back of the couch, bag of natural popcorn in hand.
“I admit, I am a bit of a little child at heart,” the blond shrugs with one of his picture perfect smiles.  It’s not a picture one of the magazines would take (at least, not if they knew what was good for them), since the messy damp hair and casual t-shirt and jeans aren’t exactly cover material unless they’re looking for a bit of the domestic.
“A bit?” Apollo prods, hiding a smile as he carefully presses his bookmark into the book and sets it aside.
In response, Klavi pouts.  Which is adorable and kissable and all sorts of cheating when he uses it in the courthouse (but at least his boyfriend doesn’t use it in the courtroom because he has some manners).  Given that they’re just hanging out in Apollo’s apartment, though, there’s no reason he can’t lean over and gently press his lips to his boyfriend’s.  Only for a moment, because he doesn’t want to encourage this kind of behavior, but when he pulls back, as always the blond is wearing his slightly dazed, adoring grin, which is a good look for him.  Particularly when it means he’s not about to start talking nonsense again for a full minute.
He takes advantage of the distraction to start the show and snuggle into the German’s chest and brace himself for being absolutely confused.  Apollo’s only ever seen the classics, like Perry Mason, and all the weird shows that Klavier watches are a bit of a mystery, particularly when they’re not all set in the real world.  Though he’s learning to appreciate them in their own right, especially when Klavier waxes poetical about their virtues and they get into lovely discussions that sometimes resemble their dates in court, and, as the prosecutor had pointed out, some of his work at the Wright Anything Agency could be, when described, just as weird or weirder than some of the stuff they’ve seen.
That being said, he’s still really confused as to what is happening in the current show.
Klavier, for his part, just settles back, rests an arm carefully around Apollo’s shoulder.
When they reach a certain part of the video, though, he just has to pause it.  “You just like this series because it uses your catchphrase, don’t you,” he states flatly, despite phrasing it as a question.
Klavi reaches out and tweaks Apollo’s nose gently.  “Not only,” he disagrees.  “I greatly enjoy all the symbolism, and I adore all kinds of fictional murder mysteries.  Und…”  Apollo knows those blue eyes are twinkling, even without cranking his head around to look, “…I admit to watching for ze eye candy, too.”
He plays with Apollo’s antennae, not standing up after the shower.  “I have my own special agent right here, only he has less of a sense of humor.  You really should learn to relax, Herr Fore—”
“Finish that and I elbow you, and I’m in a pretty good place to do some damage.  It’s not as funny as you think it is.”  He pauses, because he’s proving Klavier’s words.  “It’s something most people make fun of.”
The blond pulls him closer and kisses the back of his head.  “You should know that even as I tease, it’s only because you are special.  I adore your forehead.”  He pauses and adds softly, “…und ze power you have…I feel the adoring, competent enough sheriff, trailing in ze wake of ze man mit all ze answers, gained through some mystical process I do not understand…but I trust in ze process.  I trust in you.”
Apollo swallows.  He’s tempted to protest that it’s not magic, but the honest faith Klavier’s expressing is utterly disarming.  “At first, I didn’t believe it was real,” he confides, pulling closer to Klavier but not looking at the arm or anything else.  “I’ve always been good at reading people—well, Kristoph excluded…”
He pauses, wincing.  Where possible he tries not to talk about Klavier’s brother.
Klavier’s voice, though…it’s a little pained, but he actually replies, which is better than it’s been in a while.  “Kristoph has always been gut at lying—to you, to me, to himself…”  He sighs.  “Do not blame yourself, Herr—Apollo.”
“Well, I’d always just thought it was a normal thing.  Or, well, not new, but something that some people could just do.”
“Tell zat to your magic bracelet,” Klavier disagrees softly.
In response, Apollo lets himself chuckle.  “Right.  Sorry about that.  My work kind of is this crazy, I should get more used to this stuff.”  He snuggles even closer to Klavier and starts the movie again and Klavier welcomes him with open arms.
