Blue Oyster Cult (Stands So Far Series)
Aug. 28th, 2020 03:20 pmIt is unknown whether this Stand and Stand User will be of note, but keeping notes on this Stand makes sense anyway. Don’t make that face, Intern Charlotte. We are treating the User for a mental break, but it is unknown whether this was caused by the dimension visited by B3 or whether this is a consequence of the User being unable to continue rhythmic movement while her Stand was summoned. However, extensive research into various Stands has allowed for categorization such as the “Stand Stats” and Stand Types, which one of our employees, Koichi Hirose, has already testified has made a difference for him during a fight. In addition, this particular Stand User was supposedly defeated by Sarde, but as it seems he took a bribe to leave her alone instead, we should reevaluate the rest of his reports on defeated Stand Users and also question what we were told about their powers, hence this update to our files. For example, the notes Sarde mentioned summoning a water-hound, which while it’s possible that this is indeed a power, this was not observed by Josephine, Okuyasu, and Josuke. (And if it was something Crawford could do, Josephine points out, she probably would have, as it’s quite a bit harder to dance when you have rabid supernatural dogs trying to bite off your ankles. Not that I have any experience in the matter. I’m not sure Josephine does, either, but it’s a good point nonetheless.)

Blue Oyster Cult is a six-eyed, glowing shadowy motorcycle-riding Stand (the motorcycle is part of the Stand). It usually tucks its wings in to appear like a trenchcoat. There are similarities to the Marvel version of Ghost Rider, though its head does not consist of a floating fiery skull.
Shadow of California-Even when attacking, everyone in the area needs to be able to continue to move in rhythm or they will spontaneously combust and continue to burn until they can get back into rhythm. Unfortunately, this is difficult to do when you’re in pain from being on fire.
