All-American Hero
Nov. 5th, 2018 07:07 pm...It is, however, one of the few costumes you can pull off in a wheelchair. Next year he's going as Professor X.

Main Points:
Buffy the Vampire Slayer with heavy Jojo's Bizarre Adventure references.
Summary: Xander's second Halloween costume is...a little different.
Word Count: 175
Rating: Gen, will make no sense if you haven't read Steel Ball Run (but might be interesting anyway, IDK)
“What are you even wearing?” Buffy asks the second she opens the door.
“It’s called a costume, Buffy; I’m sure you’ve heard of it,” Xander answers with a smirk—he’s even kind of in character. Kind of.
“You’re wearing lipstick,” she deadpans, and he nods. Maybe in the past, even the thought would’ve been mortifying, but your priorities change pretty rapidly after you lose the use of your legs.
“How does it look? Ahn did pretty well, I think.” He poses as well as he can in the wheelchair.
“It’s…” She’s struggling with her words, to figure out the correct way to say it without hurting his feelings. It’s kind of funny to watch, which is part of why he chose it (well, that, and there aren’t a lot of different choices of wheelchair-bound characters to dress as once he’d used the Crippled Dark Knight last Halloween). “I dunno, I think you look fine, but…it looks like you wrapped yourself in an American flag.”
“Nope, that’s Valentine,” Xander corrects cheerfully, with no further explanation given.
