Nov. 10th, 2017 11:28 pmOkay--a) you can all stop wishing for good luck for me, because as nice as it is to have options it's also terrifying because I've never had so many things that I've agreed to. Technically an interview for a different company next week isn't actually a contractual obligation, it's terrifying instead, but. Hey, it's like public speaking, we all gotta do it sometime. The thing is, the second job's more in my field, but the first one I actually have rather than sorta maybe have so...
b) I spent all of today getting a new browser ready. I'm one of those power users who has a bunch of tabs open, and some of them are just for fun (like deviantart and fanfic) and some of them are actually required (like all of my job applications tabs). I tried using bookmarks, at one point, but the ratio of dead links to not dead links doesn't do such a good job encouraging me to use them. Pale Moon is what I liked, mostly, about firefox (privacy conscious, nice addons, not loading all the tabs separately), and no viruses from download so that's always a plus.
c) I got some really cool ideas for the next chapter of Shadowed Suspicion but absolutely no time to write them, plus muses are being musey and sidetracking me. Also, I may suddenly have no free time soon. So if we have to go into a hiatus, I am sorry but hopefully things (my life) will stabilize eventually, so there's that.
d) Sorry also that this is longer than the actual thing, but I wrote this as a counterpart to John's little speech and then realized it fits better as an 'episode cap' than it does as part of a greater whole, so...episode cap all by its lonesome, how 'bout that.
