Yusei’s still behaving off. His head’s not in the game. A duel won’t fix things. He doesn’t have his heart in it.
Jack refuses to act with someone he can’t trust to have his back. The ghost of Yusei Fudo is unacceptable. He will do whatever he has to to have that fire back, because there’s no one else who could unite them all, push them all to their best. In the end, it might be Jack’s skills that win them this war, but only because his friend is pushing him past his limits. But only if he’s actually there.
