         “So, what stereotypes about the differences in men and women are accurate in your opinion, Senpai?” Rise’s gotten a whole lot better at not flirting with you after Yosuke talked to her, but there are instances in which she slips, and you think this might be one of those times. And this isn’t really a safe topic to be talking about with this group anyway. They all tend to be normal until the fact that they’re actually reminded that you happen to have a group of mixed genders. Before you can say you’re not going to answer that, Teddie speaks up and proves you right.
         “Duh! Girls are beautiful!” He looks so proud of himself like he’s discovered something entirely new. His naive joy is a little hard to burst, but Yosuke, of course, doesn’t have any issues breaking it.
         “Counterargument: Souji exists,” he states without a hint of embarrassment. Like it’s just a fact. You are suddenly lacking the necessary words. “I’d have to say the difference between womens’ and mens’ restrooms. Women are a lot cleaner.”
         “Yosuke!” Chie starts gearing up to kick your boyfriend, and if you weren’t still a little breathless, you’d intervene.
         “What? Partner, what’d I say?” He turns to you, completely clueless, and all you can do is raise a disapproving eyebrow, but apparently that’s enough to get through to him, because suddenly he’s really flustered. “No—wait, Chie, it’s not what you’re thinking, it’s not like anyone was actually in them at the time!” That’s enough to earn a stay of execution apparently.
         He takes a deep breath and then continues, less urgently. “I had to clean them, okay? When people wouldn’t show up for their shifts.” So...wait, the janitor? Hmm. Maybe you could offer to fill in there? You do actually have the experience, and it’d be less stressful earning yen from Junes than with the nurse around. She’s scarier than the ghosts. Mostly because she’s more persistent than Rise. “And I’ve never seen poop or vomit on the floor of the women’s.”
         “Eww, you had to clean that?” Chie shrieks, and Kanji looks...impressed?
         “You’re a braver man than I thought, Senpai.”
         “Yeah, well, I was mostly just thinking at the time, ‘why don’t we have more protective equipment and cleaning supplies’, and ‘damn I need a shower’.” He pauses and then adds, “And men are also pushier? Women will just wait or go somewhere else. Men see the sign and just start pushing their way in even when you’re finishing cleaning.”
         “Un-bear-lievable!” Teddie pronounces. You’re pretty sure he’s not following along in the slightest, but he’s doing a lot better at reading emotions and responding accordingly, even though he has some way to go.
Naoto-kun’s even looking a little green. “Why would someone do such a thing?”
         “Maybe a prank?” Rise suggests, and you frown. It sounds like that might be a suggestion from experience.
         “Maybe. I was guessing maybe a salaryman who stayed out drinking all night.” Odd. He says that, but you picture Adachi for some reason. And quickly dismiss the thought. You don’t want to have that kind of idea stored in your brain.
