I haven’t been keeping up with all the backrooms wikidot rewrites, but. From everything I’ve heard, it’s just taking away things that could help you and making everything more hostile, and I don’t think that’s the best idea. It’s going back to the whole tension graph in writing. If it’s all tension all the time with no breathing room, people become numb to it. If you give unpredictable breaks in the tension, that’s what sets people up for bigger scares.
