Babylon 5, officials in the Earth Alliance did not tell Morden what they wanted and formed a NATO-like defense pact, so Morden pulled them and the Minbari into a war instead. They do have their claws in the PsiCorps, but Bester doesn’t trust them and is keeping an eye on the situation (and ready to have the rest assassinated if need be).

“I think the great Centauri Republic is served just fine by staying out of this one, thank you. Let them tear each other apart.”

“It’s not as if the humans have any kind of advantage, do they?”

“Despite their meddling, their reputation as a neutral third party has remained intact. Besides, it’s rumored that they or possibly their Minbari puppets have some kind of ace up their sleeve.”

“What kind of advantage? …You know, you’re hardly the only ambitious Centauri in your government.”

Keffer also is the face of the Front and has the ‘some kind of advantage’—unregistered Teep?

He’s also in a relationship with one of the species in the League. Which is driving Sheridan crazy. “I wish I could stop thinking about his love life. There’s only so many times you can tell them their questions are an invasion of privacy.”

Lyta’s Teeps are the ones helping out—and they’re all serving the Minbari if they get caught, with papers and everything.
