madimpossibledreamerSo, obviously no Jojo's chapter today. I was up way too late last night trying to stop the bios update, and worked on it for a few hours today. Only real way to stop it was disabling Windows Update, unfortunately. Note to laptop buyers: Asus is a good brand in all other ways but likes to push bios updates through WU, so if you like to have the experience of wondering whether windows update will do what it does best and break only with an operation that could easily brick your computer, that's probably the brand you want.
plus we're all losing our minds because a sniffle is scary, now. really, really hoping we're all fine.
I'm currently writing a chapter, but it won't be done before tomorrow (maybe Sunday). in the meantime, have an idle thought.
*accidentally previously posted on the 18th because I was exhausted.
the writer's insistence on 'jedi must all be in relationships', and the 'new jedi are better than old jedi because they allow it' is something that always bugged me, like 'asexual is far too weird'. i liked qui-gonn and tahl being an exception, sorta (and the exceptions of 'nearly extinct species, jedi master has to fulfill duties' though I don't remember if that was also fanfic)
