beneath the cut: everyone keeps...recommending Game of Thrones for me...by mentioning the warnings?? Why??
why did every single person recommending Game of Thrones to me somehow find every single description that would turn me *off* watching it as a "why you would love it"? Like, you could mention the worldbuilding or dragons but everyone just kept talking about all the sex scenes, including rape (yes, they actually mentioned that), and
the backstabby European royalty thing. (To be honest...I think the things they talk about outweigh my desire to actually see it, but seriously, either that's what they found interesting or they totally didn't understand me at all).
