I know Jolyne thinks that Jotaro doesn’t care about her.  I wonder if it’s Asian Parent syndrome.  Unlike Americans, making a big deal about your child’s accomplishments is just not done.  It’s something about humility?  I don’t remember the explanation my professor gave, exactly, but it’s a cultural difference that we find hard to understand.
