Natsukawa Kimiko (Joyce) Minamoto no Mikokoro
As with her daughters, Kimiko chose a folk hero as her irezumi youkai. Mikokoro is the equivalent of Yoshitsune. (It’s unknown how folk hero irezumi youkai work, as multiple people tend to have the same one so it’s probably not like they’re all drawing on the same soul. There’s been someone who theorized that belief in legends actually creates youkai, and it is this belief that allows for a youkai to be an irezumi youkai.) She enjoyed the tragic hero aspect of the story. Even as a young child, Kimiko was playing around with a tiny branch which was a fearsome sword in her mind. She wanted to be that sharp-witted military leader who was great with a sword and the men (and, depending on what rumors you hear, succeeded). She both won a big battle with the Osato-kai and negotiated a peace that, while uneasy, lasted a long time. (As Chairwoman she also lasted far longer than any of the Chairmen of the Tojo Clan.)
Sakura (cherry blossoms) are partially there because of their appearance in a piece of art about her. Of course, given that she’s decently long-lived compared to some of the others, that’s ironic. It also emphasizes the meaning of choosing Yoshitsune—a beautiful if tragic and fleeting character, the definition of bittersweet.
Kimiko also has a mask. She didn’t become an art manager, but she does have art as a hobby. She collected a lot of art still shown in Amaya-kai HQ, but her absolute favorites were kabuki and noh theatre. It’s a zou mask for a goddess. It’s tasteful.
Given that she was Chairwoman, it's also more elaborate and detailed than most.
