unpopular opinion: the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie was pretty good--it got the parody/serious ratio perfect.  the second one was too predictable in that it led to me and my mom entirely predicting the third movie according to a friend who actually watched it and completely failed the ratio.  Cool main theme, but it also ticks me off due to associations.
