We’ve had notes on Gold Experience for a while, but while there are references to a ‘Requiem’, we don’t actually have detailed reports on this. Since Giorno Giovanna is the son of Dio Brando, some of our employees find this suspicious behavior, but since Dr. Jotaro Kujo and Jean Pierre Polnareff, some of the few who have had a direct encounter with DIO, okayed it and, in fact, ordered us to stop looking into it…far be it for us to argue with a Joestar.
After the betrayal of Sarde, I overheard the doctor mutter something about reasons like him being why no one should know about it, so I’ll guess it’s a case like the stone mask. The fact that Straizo knew about it was too much temptation, and the power corrupted him. Given new information about these “Slaypires”, perhaps it is better that the knowledge of what a ‘Requiem’ is and how it is accessed remains a secret guarded by only a few. At least given coordinated actions between Passione and the Speedwagon Foundation, Don Giovanna has proven to be a relatively trustworthy individual.
Stand User: Giorno Giovanna
Appearance: Gold, ladybugs, helmet. We do have an artist sketch, but for the most part unless Giorno’s in one of his rare moments of goofing off, the only ones who see his Stand (who those of us who can see Stands are luckily not counted among) are enemies.
Main Power: Giorno, however, has not made a secret of his original power to the Speedwagon Foundation, I believe as a repudiation of the idea that he is like Dio Brando. Gold Experience’s ability to create life is relatively similar to the power of hamon, which as reported by Joseph Joestar destroys vampires, even if said vampire is the one using the hamon. He has also taken care to warn us against attacking any of these objects given life, suggesting that there is a secondary power that leads to consequences in such a case (maybe it can create hamon traps like Joseph).
