(what's happening with dreamwidth only allowing me to use html rn??)
What did that do? Did we trap ourselves in? ….Now both doors are locked. Farah…hang
on…did you come through there? A mouse wouldn’t even fit through there. (Maybe a bit of an exaggeration; I’ve seen mice I’ve cared for crawl through tinier spots. A rat, though, for sure wouldn’t fit.) You have special pow—it’s because it’s time related, isn’t it? That’s what it is. Of course. You have the powers of—that column is entirely covered in blood. That is rather disturbing, especially considering that—stop tapping your foot at me, I’m monologuing. What was I saying? Oh, yes, your special powers of time and space, because they are intricately connected because of black holes and thus you have the ability to turn yourself into a black hole and fit through a space that small. That’s my theory. (Of course, there are some flaws in this theory…namely that if she turned into a black hole she’d be absorbing the entirety of the castle starting with the nearest stuff, but…it would explain the compression thing. If she could phase through walls, she should just use that all the time because in a place where there’s traps around every corner that’s a no, duh. She might be able to turn herself into something small, like a snake or bug or something, too. Maybe.)
So, what, am I still supposed to be pushing this lever, or—there we go.
Please stay open, thanks.
Careful! [Farah] Yeah, I know; I saw them. Don’t worry about it; I saw them. Thanks.
I think I actually, once I get to the next save point—as I pose dramatically with my new cool sword—after I get to the next save point I’m pausing (saving and quitting, maybe, since the next file’s days later?), but—what? Maybe I do something? (Generally helpful, yes.)
Okay, I’ve seen this type of writing before. What type of writing is this? It’s…it looks like a bunch of golf pegs, really? That’s a dumb way to put it, but…
Here I am! [Farah] That’s great, where. (If I could track the sound of your voice that would help a lot.)
Don’t step off that switch. [Prince] If you do, you’ll plunge me into death.
That was a close one. Let’s try not to do that again. That’s better. Ohhhh, why did you do that. (Prince doesn’t leap to his death, just tries to give me a heart attack.) At least we didn’t die, so it’s all fine, but eeeh.
I cannot ladder. I have a truth to tell you; I cannot ladder.
More enemies, uh, hang on. Are these—they look like soldiers. (Think they’re the generals I refer to the rest of the playthrough.) Could you please stop pointing that at my head? You’re not close enough to hit the enemies, just me.
I’ve seen this style of artwork before…I think this is Babylonian. I’ll have to look it up after we finish, but I have the feeling it’s totally Babylonian.
Yeah, I remember. Red guys I can go over, blue guys I totally can’t.
I totally did the wall thing! I totally launched myself off the wall—I did the wall thing! That is so cool! Oh my word. I am such a nerd, but you all knew that. Really.
Not the way I meant to—
That was so cool! I can’t do it on these guys, but I can totally do it off the wall behind them! That is so cool!
Help me! [Farah] You’re fine. You’re still better off than I am, actually.
I didn’t notice my health had gotten quite that low.
Is there water anywhere in here?
Not that way. Not that way, you moron. Prince. Pr-Prince.
I had sands left! Oh, I couldn’t use it. I couldn’t use it because there’s a recharge time or something. Okay. (Specifically, the more you use it in quick succession, the less time it rewinds, until you get a split of a second to do something. Not very helpful when you’re surrounded by enemies ready to chomp your head off.)
Could I not be stuck in the middle of you guys? That’d be great.
Sorry. I hit the button. (No, how dare you progress?)
Please tell me I can’t actually stab you, because that would be bad. (Well, judging by Farah, friendly fire is a thing, sooooooo.)
(rewinding) /sighs
Oh, wall fighting is so much cooler! (Like your wallrun and water obsessions perhaps?) I’m not even mad they’re making me do it again, because I obviously need help. (insert joke here)
I’m just like “yes, please, give me more”. (“Please, sir, may I have some more?”) I did it off the column, too! …Ow, ahhh mannn. Even when it has issues I love the combat in this game. That being said, I like using water and I don’t think there is any in this room, so…
What? That totally shoulda worked. See? Like that. It totally shoulda worked like that. Exactly like that.
Not that guy. Don’t try to parkour off that guy. It doesn’t work.
Help me! [Farah] Princess, I’m not whining about my health dwindling. Stop complaining about yours. I’d be happy if I had your health.
Stay down this time.
I have no health. It’s a problem.
I’m looking for invisible water. I know I’ve done a lot of strange things…I don’t hear any. Do you hear any? I don’t hear any. Oh man, water (sad, wistful).
There’s kind of an eagle sound as well. When I go into the visions. (Prototype Assassin’s Creed thing? When did they start making AC in the PoP franchise?)
43%. I’m thinking of stopping now, though. You wish me to leave before finishing my story? [Prince] Yeah… As you wish. [Prince] (What, are you Wesley now?)
I really do like this game, though. This game is fun. Anyway. Close down this (music for “prestream”), let’s stop the recording, because I forgot to do that, haha. I’m smart. I r smart.
