Beginning of the Breakdown
May. 7th, 2018 12:01 amI am cheating at posting this because I'm going to have to get up at 5 in the morning on Tuesday which I haven't done in at least 10 years. I am not happy and am already sleep deprived, plus I had a pretty big breakdown, like, this whole week.
I'm feeling a bit like Yosuke rn honestly, but y'know what else sucks? I have no idea when/if I'll get to write next. If all else fails I can continue with backups (or discontinued things still hiding in the recesses of my folders).

When Souji arrives the next morning, he finds Yosuke staring blankly at the bulletin board.
“That’ll teach you to sign up people without their permission,” Yukiko states coldly. She hadn’t even made a sound when she walked up, which is how he knows she’s completely annoyed. The fact that she’d been still holding a grudge over this is a bad sign.
Apparently, that’s all Yosuke needs to get him moving. He lets out a strangled sound and just drops his bag and starts running. He doesn’t stop to get on his outside shoes. He’s just gone.
“What did you do?” Chie asks. She sounds slightly disapproving.
Souji moves forward to the board. It’s clearly involved. “…Signed us up for the ‘Miss’ Yasogami Pageant. What does that mean?”
“It’s cross-dressing. You signed Yosuke up for cross-dressing?” From the upset tone of Chie’s voice, she knows exactly why Yosuke’s acting so uncharacteristically.
“He needed to appropriately pay for what he did to us,” Yukiko states, sounding entirely like an ice queen.
“For reasons I don’t know that you will ever understand, this is a thousand times worse for him than it would ever be for you. I just hope I can find him before he has a full-fledged panic attack.” Both Souji and Yukiko blink at the venom in their friend’s voice.
“Chie—” Yukiko starts, confused, and Satonaka shakes her head. She’s in a fighting pose.
“You have no idea of the damage you’ve done. I know you don’t understand, but…Amagi, that was downright cruel. I don’t want to talk to you right now because I’ll say something I’ll regret, and Yosuke-kun’s the one that needs my help right now.” She glances at Souji, who’s mostly just staring, wide-eyed and confused. “Look after our stuff, Souji-kun.” And then she’s gone, chasing Yosuke out the front doors without changing her shoes, either.
