Injury/death count: kirk ran right into the ‘door’, also nerve pinched.  Heartbreak.

Kirk’s being a jerk again.  He really needs his breaks don’t he.  (also bones is concerned.  Ee.)

As such I’m totally writing a profile on him anyway.

This is where he gets his rep for a dumb hothead, huh?

Even if it’s into the Klingon Neutral Zone or Romulan space.

Nope, Vulcan Death Grip, which…doesn’t exist? (I vaguely remember from other stuff.)

Poor bones, he’s the only one not let in on this little charade.

Well, not until he was there, anyway. (how’s he know?)

Autopsy would be awkward, yeah.

“what for?” and jim just starts grinning. Doc, run.

So, rumors of my death were greatly exaggerated.

He just looks and he’s like “oh, y’re up to somethin’, can I be in on it?”

Wait, jim’s wearing blue makeup.  That pleases me.  Either he or bones has blue makeup.  (we already know jim’s got foundation from…journey to babel?)

Well, they’re kissing now (wait, if they’re related species-wise, shouldn’t a Romulan be able to read his thoughts?)

She figured it out quick.  (also I like that they weren’t really that phased by ‘she’s still the commander even in civilian clothes’)

This episode has a touch of the a-team about it.

Even uhura didn’t figure it out, though.  She usually gets what’s going on with him.

And using cultural knowledge as a tool!

I love that they kept that continuity (& didn’t fix it before the end because it just didn’t make sense to do it during all of that)
