madimpossibledreamer: Izanagi|Souji in full costume holding out a hand (izanagi|souji)

Death/hurt count: Red shirt tortured.  Mirror red shirt tortured, I should say. 2 mirror yellow shirts killed. 1 blue shirt smacked in the face.  Also mirror!chekov is probably dead if the Booth is what I think it is.  Okay, no, just torture.  Again.  3 red shirts vanished out of existence.

“You do have the might to force the crystals from us.”  “But we won’t.  Consider that.”  (of course, given that the Federation does defend itself from Klingons/Romulans, minus the whole ‘shoot first’ mentality…)

That music is sinister.

That’s a surprised/worried Vulcan.

Bearded Spock!  I know what episode this is…O.o

You not gonna say it’s ‘illogical’?

It’s the original ‘evil universe versions’, or something.

…Are those bells supposed to be slightly off in the theme song?  Because if so, well done.

Your uniforms are all weird.  Also, those are some nice arms, which is probably why you’re showing them off.  Why are Bones and Scotty’s uniforms normal?

You jumped to mirror universe pretty quickly.

He knows the tech :)

Comms on scramble aren’t obvious?

Reassure Uhura (why necessary?)

Sulu what’s up?  Okay, creepy, also scar.

He’s just like “why”

Oh, boy, sulu politics.  All the politics.  This is 900% tense.

Don’t give him the chance.

Oooh, evil Chekov is terrifying.

Computer easily computes the ability to contact other universes.

Bones gives the proper philosophical question.

Not good things, I’m sure.

Spock’s just like “Huh, this is interesting”

Lesser target—logical.

“I do not threaten, Captain.  I merely state facts.”  That was so creepy.

He can play the role.

Oh, man, that looks almost like he’s about to start crying.  Man this has super disturbed him, but then, the same was true of The Enemy Within so.

He looks so confused by a woman waiting in his quarters.  But then, he doesn’t permit himself.

There’s the *turn on the charm* button.

Why the bluff?

Nnoooope because even if I was him I wouldn’t trust you lady.

Spock warning him.  Ooh.

You…hate it?  That’s an emotion that it doesn’t seem to be allowed.

(oh, of course they have a computerized Death Note.)

Nope, I’m not afraid of much.

Sulu’s afraid of Vulcans.

That doesn’t cover much.

Of course, 10 minutes is a bit of a deadline.

Aww man, leaving her like that is…I mean, necessary and probably a good idea.

“hunt fresh game” huh?

Well, there’s a kiss.  Again, for camouflage.

You are way too close to the truth, lady.

“You’re the Captain’s woman, until he says you’re not.”  That is a way to get out of that, sheesh.

Oh, and of course she’s got the viewing screen, she can see exact—

He’s talking to Uhura.

That ain’t gonna go well.

Uhura is seducing Mirror!Sulu to keep him distracted.  Seriously, Jim wouldn’t ask his people to do anything he wouldn’t, would he??

That’s a nice dagger you got there.

That look of “I got caught, I don’t want to hurt you.”

Spock threatening McCoy?  Uuuuuuhhh.  That ain’t good.

DON’T THREATEN MAH CREW

Bones.  A sedative hypo might be useful as of now.

OOOOWW. Was that a…did you just hit him over the head with a boiling flask?

Putting ourselves in danger to help him stay alive.

Them, on the other hand…

They really emphasize cross-training (or inadequacy).

That was actually kind of pathetic, Sulu.

Also, why wasn’t your blade poisoned?

You’re touching.  Aren’t you already reading—oh, okay.

She wants to go—yep.  Called it.

GO UHURA

Even more ethical dilemmas.  All of the ethical dilemmas.

Self-sacrifice.

Spock’s willing to help.

Kirk logicing is great, but he wears many hats.  Sometimes literally.

“One man cannot summon the future.” –Spock “But one man can change the present.” –Kirk

“consider” is as good as “yeah, you got it”.

That happy look, man Kirk.

What happened to them—ah.

That roll of eyes.

“I’m not sure but I think we’ve been insulted.” –Kirk  “I’m sure.” –Bones

Kirk, I can’t tell if you’re serious or you’re pulling his leg about ship’s woman counterpart.  Marlena.  Thank you credits.

On another show, they would’ve killed their counterparts.

Actually, no, maybe not—what year was Inferno (Doctor Who)?  1965, okay, and this episode? 1967, wow.  So Doctor Who was actually first.  Maybe I’ll do a rewatch and compare the episodes.  Eventually.

They never managed to save the race.  They didn’t even finish negotiations.  Huh.
