        Yosuke runs into the tiny blond as he sprints into the station for the file he’s been sent to fetch.  He understands that given the situation it’s best if he’s nowhere near the scene, but being treated like a particularly intelligent pet is a little degrading, honestly.  What made him feel worse is that he feels guilty, since Narukami’s no slouch as a Hacker and added an apologetic feeling to the order.  He hates making the Chief feel bad almost as much as he hates feeling useless, and in general those factors lead to a rotten mood.
        The kid’s wearing a nondescript hoodie and makes a squeaking noise as he’s run into, like there’s something wrong with his muscles.
        Hanamura immediately slows down.  He didn’t think anyone other than the team had access back here, which means that this intruder had to hack the system, somehow.
        He runs a quick scan.  Technically it’s not authorized, but he’ll run it by Narukami, just in case this one protests his rights—

        Actually, he probably won’t, because Yosuke just confirmed that this one is absolutely insane, because from how Narukami-kun talks about Nanako-chan, and how much it isn’t a good idea to tick off Narukami or Dojima, this AI probably runs on a mix of bravery and stupidity.
        The whole ‘AI dating a citizen’ thing is kinda a grey area given the state of civil rights right now, but he’s not going to cross either of the two who presumably gave some kind of grudging permission by reporting it or anything.
        “If you’re looking for Narukami-san, he’s at the crime scene, not here,” he says in the friendliest voice he can muster, and the shrimp, blond hair and innocent blue eyes peeking out, turns to look at him, grateful. 
        “I wasn’t particularly looking for Sensei.  I didn’t want to trouble him, but.—”
        Yosuke rolls his eyes.  “Out with it.”  He doesn’t deal with AIs much, but it’s a little freaky, staring into a mirror that seems so utterly human and yet he’s not sure how much of him really is human and how much of him is machine.  It’s a little—unsettling is the word, and he doesn’t mean to be rude but it’s just kind of happening and he’s not sure how to stop it.
        “I—you’re the Magician, right?”  One hand reaches out and traces a few of the nanotats, which is uncomfortably intimate.  “Sensei speaks a lot about you.”
        “Y-yeah,” he manages to stammer out, and the blond backs up.
        “It’s about the Corporate stuff.  I’m really good at getting in and out,” Teddie says, and there must be hidden depths in this AI because he looks and acts nothing like a spy, but perhaps that’s the point.  “I don’t think he’s looking hard enough because of his past deals with SEBEC, but I found stuff about something called the New World Order, and…”  He pauses, sighs, then starts feeding the information across a newly opened heavily encrypted channel at a speed that would leave Yosuke reeling if he wasn’t a Magician.  As it is, he’s still getting a bit of a headache from the rush of information.
        “This ain’t good,” he agrees grimly and grabs a second pistol, just in case.
