Man, this one's a lot less mixed than for Nicholas Brendon, that's for sure. I'll miss him. I've never heard a bad thing about him and I've actually seen him in multiple things (technically I saw a couple of episodes with Brendon as Garcia's boyfriend, but): Buffy, obviously, Merlin, and (it surprised me), Doctor Who. I know absolutely no one remembers "The Infinite Quest" but it's one of my favorites. (Also "School Reunion".) And I think his take on the Doctor would've been interesting, even though I think Paul McGann was good for the role of the 8th Doctor. In general he was just a nice influence to have around and Giles was super important to me, but at least we have a lot to remember him by.
