Montag’s not onscreen (in this story, anyway) line returns to haunt everyone. Probably literally. I’d say this wasn’t a thing that happened in the Park, so it’s a new kind of suffering, but given how many workers died and whose deaths might’ve gotten covered up by burying them in the grounds...probably not.
