        In recent news, Tony Stark, the only son of Maria and Howard Stark, has gone missing.  Tony, 21, was scheduled to inherit his father’s company.  Details of his scandalous trip abroad had been covered in many sources.  He’d been granted the money for the trip by his guardian, Obidiah Stane, as a graduation present.  Perhaps the gift was motivated by the fact that the young genius finally graduated, as he had taken quite an amount of his father’s trust fund earning degrees in physics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and computer engineering, a degree he had added as soon as it became available (this occurred while he was still in the process of getting other degrees).  In addition, he tacked on numerous minors or nearly did so, since he took classes just for fun and seemed to enjoy college social life just as much.
        The story, in the end, comes out much like that of Amelia Earhart.  The private plane took off, but did not land as scheduled.  A transmission indicated that the engines were experiencing some trouble, but no maydays were issued over the radio.
        Joint efforts by Obidiah Stane and James Rhodes, who was recently accepted into the Air Force, have as yet failed to discover any sign of the genius.  Some have begun discussing the concept that, perhaps, it is time to declare him MIA and move on, but neither Stane nor Rhodes are willing to accept this outcome.  “I refuse to mourn him or take official control of Stark Industries until I find his body,” Stane confided in an official release to the press.
