He’s Dead, Jim (Death/injury count): the Defiant? Looks like, yes.  Chekov affected by ? medical man affected.  Bones attacked.  Kirk just kind of hanging in the ether? Red shirt affected.  Red shirt (engineering) affected. Uhura is…something. Red shirt (engineering) headache.  Angry Bones, although that might just be normal because he talked himself out of it. no, maybe not (or maybe collapsing ‘cause of over work?)

How would it be affecting chekov.  Visual stimuli is my only guess getting through that suit (a la x-files)

I’d yell at Chekov for taking the helmet off but I just remembered the transporters supposedly have some sort of decontam built into them.

Welp you just lost your Captain to the, what, Philadelphia Experiment?  Oh, hey, there it is, the Flying Dutchman.  The Flying Defiant.  Or, y’know, the Marie Celeste.  There’s also Brigadoon, the town equivalent.  (my brain’s also saying Croatoa but that’s more of a disappearance rather than a disappearance + reappearance…but also correlates with the murderous rage part of the deal, at least if you ask Supernatural.)  …Basically what I’m saying is I know way too much X-Files trivia and I’m glad the phenomenon continues in space.

Well unless it’s dumb and got through the suit somehow.

And rather than going and doing my job I’m still inexplicably on the bridge.

(also uhura is 100% useful for a group whose important functions are diplomacy)

Bones.  I mean, at least you didn’t air out the dirty laundry in front of the crew.  That’s at least some professionalism.

Uhura’s quarters are beautiful. 

I feel like that *spaceman in pain appearing* has been used in something else, although given the date of which most of the things I watch it’s probably a ref—B5, that’s it.  Sheridan. War Without End.  Man I love that episode.

You see, I’m a) a techno-mage and b) he’s become unstuck in time.  Honestly, Uhura the technomage would be amazing
