The reasons why a previous relationship failed or were less than ideal are always relevant to talking about a current one.

Like it’s not even quite that she’s a cliché (that I know of)              

She’s the one who fell in love with a guy and put him on a pedestal (I think) and that’s written as usually men doing that?  She wants a relationship but doesn’t seem to have put much thought into how (again, male thing) and is like blah practical concerns aren’t a thing (male thing) but seriously she has done nothing constructive this episode.  And maybe she got tired of her job, maybe she had enough between the work and the husband & is wanting the glory days again, but seriously, I’m getting sick and tired of it
