Aaaaaa!  That’s actually accurate science.  An invisibility device would also render sight useless (from the point of view of the invisible.)  *dances*  (Which means they probably have the same sensors the Enterprise does—they can read motion atm but not sight.)

Were you not aware that Romulans and Vulcans are related?  Has it really been that long since anyone’s seen one?  Wait, Vulcans would know, but on the other hand they may be embarrassed and not want to acknowledge the black sheep of the family.
