Somehow, I keep forgetting about Duke, and that's a crime, because he's actually a pretty cool character.
Also, this music, because the description "
a theme straight from the world of fun and games - a magical carnival of fairy tales and happiness" sounds like it could have come straight from Pegasus' lips.

Duke frowns, staring around the area.  He doesn’t recognize anyone, which is weird.  It’d been a bit of a surprise to get an invitation, but he wasn’t about to complain about a free ticket to see his friends.
At least, he wouldn’t, but.  He doesn’t see any of them.  But then…
“Oh, hey, Rebecca!”  That’s a bit of a relief, but he’d known he’d see her here, given that they’d been on the same flight.  It was a pity that they hadn’t been nearby, or it would’ve been cool to catch up.
“DUKE!” the girl screams and tackles him.  He barely manages to stay upright, grinning.
Then, at the exact same time, they try to speak.  “Do you know where—”  “—Have you seen—”
Duke frowns, cutting off his question.  “You haven’t, huh?”
“Duke, hi!”  It’s Serenity.  As much of a pleasure as it’d be to see her normally, he doesn’t miss the utterly worried look on the lovely lady’s face.
“I haven’t seen your brother, unfortunately.”  Usually, that’d be good, as he wouldn’t have to be worried about being hounded by an overprotective older brother, but in this case…
“That’s not good.  He texted me the location of the pickup in Tokyo if I wanted to come watch, but I haven’t gotten anything since…Of course, I’d thought I couldn’t make it, but still…he’d at least tell me he was here.”
That’s anything like Joey.  He’d be keeping tabs on her every movement, and he’d have a fit if anything happened to her.
Well, at least Duke’s here now, so he can make sure she stays safe.  But still…  “Do you know if they give out free food?”  Even food wouldn’t really distract him from his sister, a singlemindedness that might be admirable or just plain weird.
It’s honestly sometimes hard to tell with Joey.
Her face clears a little.  “Oh, yeah, he might just have lost track of time…I’ll try calling him again.”
Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to have helped.  She’s looking worried again.  “No answer.  It didn’t even ring.”
That’s weird.  If it was off, or something, it should’ve at least gotten to voicemail.  Assuming Joey actually knows how to set it up.
“I’m not getting anything from Yugi, either,” Rebecca adds, looking like she’s about to start crying, too, and that’s the last thing he needs.  He’d got a reputation, but he’d rather avoid being known as a heartbreaker.  He prefers to keep on good terms with his exes.  And, well, everyone.
He tries to think where they could be if they’re cut off, and instantly remembers the Virtual World with the Big Five.  Given the destruction of the mainframe, that’s not likely, but Yugi had mentioned, vaguely, that they’d gotten stuck in one once before.  Still, he wants to avoid saying that, wants to avoid scaring the ladies…
“You don’t think this is like that time with Kaiba?” Serenity asks, worried, and he sighs.  So much for that plan.
“It’s possible.”  He hasn’t braced himself, so isn’t ready for the painful punch to his shoulder.  He doesn’t think of her as that kind of woman, but along with the gentle side apparently there’s also a side you don’t want to tick off.
It makes her more intriguing, but he still pouts theatrically and rubs at his shoulder.  A little sympathy never hurts.
Her eyes are a little softer, but she’s still annoyed.  “Don’t hide stuff like that from me.  If my brother’s in trouble, I want to know.”
“Well, let’s not get ahead of ourselves here.  We don’t know anything for sure.  All we do know is that, wherever they are, they have each other’s backs.  And we’ll find them.  Okay?”
That earns smiles and determined nods from the two, which is good.  They won’t get anywhere by panicking, and it’s always a crime to see upset ladies and not do anything about it.
