I am so the Yugi on the outside looking in. I'm just like *it's nobody's fault, so why do people have to suffer? why are there situations in which no one's intending any harm and people get hurt anyway?*

Main Points:
Yugioh Canon Adjacent, Legacy!verse
Chapter Summary: Yugi encounters a surprise at the museum.
Word Count: 215
Rating: teen
Bakura ends up talking about everything he knows about the Ancient Egyptians as they walk to the museum, but Yugi doesn’t mind. It’s good that his friend is getting back to normal and isn’t too traumatized by everything that had happened.
It’s when they enter the exhibit that Yugi falters a little. Bakura doesn’t notice; he’s still talking, but Yugi can’t hear him.
There’s a buzzing in his ears, and he feels a little faint. He realizes Ryou’s gotten ahead and hurries to catch up.
His head hurts a little, but he’s not about to ruin time with a friend, so he hurries to catch up. His headache dies down a little until they stop before a tablet. There’s writing on it, and suddenly the noise in his ears is roaring, and his hands are trembling, and he’s either about to throw up or pass out.
He can read the writing. It’s nothing too exciting, just talking about a Rahotep and his decree for food to be passed out to the people since there was a famine. But he can read it.
He feels himself fall, but he doesn’t hear Ryou scream or try to catch him.
He briefly wakes in the hospital. Grandpa’s there. “Don’t tell Téa,” he asks, and then passes out again.
*sigh*
