Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Iron Man Crossover (Self-Made Hero)
Summary: There's only so much that Xander's mind can hold, now, and some just don't make the cut.
Word Count: 175
Everyone, in his mind, is associated with a song and a weird mix of schematics drawings and an element and a few equations. It’s weird, but then, so is his brain. He has to categorize everything somehow or his mind would be too full, too chaotic, to even function.
The thing is, they’re integrated. For the most part, seamlessly, to the point he occasionally forgets the difference between himself and the other people in his brain. He only uses a spell to surgically remove one he’s found, one that had no one standing alongside him as he lost his way and became the megalomaniacal tyrant. The other Tonys help hold down the screaming, disbelieving supervillain and afterwards his head suddenly feels a little empty, cold, without the other, but he’s better off without evil whispers in his head trying to get him to do things he shouldn’t, and then his brain’s filled with a dozen equations like the others are trying to fill the void, and if any of them are crying it’s a secret.
