I'm starting to doubly back up my stories just in case. On your second point...yeaaaaah I'm currently doing a Lovecraftian crossover and you might be on the verge of dying from monsters at any point but at least the government is vaguely functional, the world's not on the verge of another world war (or a nuclear war), etc. Plus you can fight back against monsters. Systems are a whole lot harder. These are weird and unfortunate times we live in. I am thinking about some kind of volunteering, but I don't know. And I'll look out for some of the small things I can do. I'll look into doing the weed bottles like you said.
