I thought I was starting to do better, but now my stomach hurts.  (Though that might've been dinner.)  Either way, :(

         Scott Hope doesn’t get forgiven just because he apologized after Xander saved him.  The only reason he even gets a chance is because Buffy tells him to give him one.  He’s grateful for all the times he’s been saved, and actually kind of enjoyed them all working together to stop the Mayor at Graduation.  He’s cool with just escorting people to safety, and he’s the one with the idea to make Survivors of Sunnydale shirts for them all (they’re actually decent quality, and it’s probably no coincidence that the abbreviation is SOS).  He throws himself wholeheartedly into being a host and might actually have started dating one of his customers (the guy seems cool with everything which is good because it means Xander doesn’t have to intervene).  It’s a good thing that he really is generally nice, because it makes him a lot harder to hate.  Well, good for him, anyway.  Xander can’t decide whether it’s a good thing or whether it’s annoying, but he tries not to get too nasty because if nothing else Buffy’s given him an order, and he tries to follow those.

         It takes Scott a while to decide on a tattoo, but eventually after talking to a few different people he finally chooses Akupāra, the Hindu turtle holding up the world (with the help of a few elephants).  It’s an odd choice, but kind of cool, and definitely distinctive.
