Kuzunoha Summoner Adventures

So, as you might have guessed from a couple of my posts, I've been playing a couple gacha (solely f2p) and I have some Thoughts. EDIT: should have warned for mention of drugs and survivor's guilt including all that entails
I started Onmyoji mostly because I really, really wanted to play Devil Summoner, and can confirm, it satisfies that itch. The story's a little convoluted and I think there is some stuff lost in translation, but you can still get the gist of it.
That being said, I have never been the Markiplier-style player that somehow manages to find all the unintended bits of the game. Except for Onmyoji. I mean, one of the pictures below is probably a bug, because it somehow happened while I was logged out. You can increase the grade of a shikigami, which mostly just increases stat and level caps, but you have to reach the current cap before you can increase the grade. To get to grade 3 (the 3 magatama), you have to reach level 20. Somehow Jikikaeru got to grade 3 at level 18...but he's a cheating mahjong-playing frog, so it makes sense.
I also am not entirely sure that they intended for you to be able to unlock a bio by repeatedly sending shikigami into a Realm fight to lose, since your tickets don't go down if you lose....but it probably also tanks your score, so.
Below is a picture from the recent event that I was gonna title "somebody stop me". All those lotuses you see on the map are placed by me. They explode on the enemies, even when they spawn in. But having seen the ending of the story event, I'm not sure it's unintended, because it's completely in character for Taishakuten (Indra) as shown in the game so far. (Also it takes a while.)
EDIT: ...According to my research on tumblr other people did this. Good :)
I might be missing something, but the current Onmyoji event is like:
Taishakuten: Okay, I've waited years for this. Just a little patience, Asura, and all our plans can come to fruition--
Asura: I HAVE NO CHILL!
also I don't get the 'unhealthy dynamic' they mentioned in chat. Taisha so far has been like 'Asura is more than a monster', kind of Bucciarati with Fugo, actually, and Asura's like 'you're plenty strong, you don't need to rely on drugs, those are dangerous and I like you in one piece'. I know they were building to a big confrontation but it would've been so easy for the two to work together and be awesome if not for the fact that Asura as mentioned has no chill
EDIT: the other half of the equation that I might've missed is during the Demon's Lair thing Taisha really wanted Asura to leave him behind and go and be the hero without the selfish burden that is Taishakuten, because survivor's guilt, so it might be more that Taisha keeps trying to do this. He really, really needs therapy, because that is very not healthy and like I said their plans were in reach! they both could have done it together! I'd say also possibly meds for depression but he's already taking those in a way I don't think any doctor would recommend...
basically they were very good for each other until the Deca pulled their stunt and Taisha unraveled
Actually kind of reminds me of Ukitake and Shunsui, actually. Ukitake's got a kind of frail body, but he has the same calm assurance that helps others (aside from when he's being all survivor's guilt) and serves a great support position, and Shunsui's afraid his powers are too dark, too dangerous, that he's a monster, but is also very supportive to Ukitake. Except at least in the Soul Society Rescue arc, it was Ukitake being the reckless hothead for justice. (Also Soul Society and the Deca are kinda corrupt, useless nobles causing more problems than they fix...)
unrelated, but Kali and the other Hindu gods shoulda been contenders in the whole Supernatural thing. Aside from the fact that the writers are obvs kinda hacks.
