Well, I’m back, and slightly less exhausted this time, so. We’ll see. Yesterday I actually did really well aside from the two completely dumb moments I had, so. Where I had to look stuff up. But I did really well yesterday so I’m hoping that’s true again today. And I can’t spend too long. Great.

I think I forgot to turn down the volume last time. Whoops. (It wouldn’t matter but I’m not the only person who uses that computer, so they would probably notice.)

And I’ve got a gift card today, so that’s exciting. I also—if I can get the dumb code off (scratch scratch with coin)—I looked up the World of Horror stuff, and the guy is still posting on Twitter, so that’s a good sign. And I don’t actually—I don’t think I actually knew that all the stuff is done in Paint, which is just nuts. Like, that’s super cool but it’s also completely nuts. There is that.

I have no idea what I want to get on Steam. I don’t know if I know anything that’s twenty dollars. I’ll probably just wait until there’s the sale again.

I’m actually kind of looking forward to playing Devil May Cry 2. Because it’s supposedly easier. It’s really boring to watch, but I assume it’s more enjoyable to play, especially if you are having issues with the other games. (And no, it’s not my favorite. Never will be. But it did some things right. It’s got the best Dante outfit in mine and several other people’s opinion, it added important things like Bloody Palace and mechanics important to future games, and the demonically possessed city and vehicles were awesome. It messed up in its Dante and its darker, edgier tone. Some things don’t change for the screw-ups of the series.)

Don’t get me wrong. I will get through Cerby. Even if I have to buy everything in the entire game before I do it. But. I don’t wanna have to drop the difficulty, so. Eh, we’ll see. (Yeah, grinding makes more sense to me than dropping difficulty. Because of the effort involved? I don’t know.)

I’m also hoping that my stomach will not continue being upset. It just started shortly before I came down here and I think it’s the fact that I had two super spicy things today, but. Ehh.

(speaking of the Prince of Persia movie music) I really like this. I mean, most of the music is very…average, I’d say. Most of it doesn’t really stand out, but I like that one sting. Musical sting. (Okay, I’m almost 90% certain I was using this word wrong but didn’t have an idea what the correct word would be. Short theme? …Probably a musical motif. Not that an entire movie’s album is a single piece of music, but it’s still a recurring musical phrase within a lyrical body of work.)

There is that, so. Honestly, I should be doing homework, but I am so, so done.

Actually, I have twenty-one dollars in there now, so. Not quite enough to buy Subnautica. (Good news! My brother bought the game for me for Christmas!)

Definitely not enough to buy DMC. Okay, yeah, I’d have to wait for the Special Edition Sales.

I could exactly buy Evil Within, but. (I got that on the Steam Winter Holiday Sale.)

It’s only because nobody can pronounce calzone. Calzone. I can’t even quite pronounce it apparently. (I unconsciously mimicked the second ad. Bad. It’s said like caltzoney, basically. You tend to pronounce all letters in Italian, except for maybe h’s.)

Imma pause this, because it tends to freak out every time I want to tab.

Why would I need to use safe mode settings? (nervous trepidation) Oh, is it because it died last time? If you didn’t save my progress, I’m going to be kind of annoyed, but I’ll live. No, apparently it did.

I’m going to be quiet, because I have the feeling a cutscene is going to be happening soon. (are you going to try to pay attention for once?)

I mean, I guess stabbing it just directly was a bad idea. (We saw the aftermath of using that even to fix it in the movie. Not very good.) That caused all of this nonsense, but—stained glass! Haha! I love that one.

I mean, if I turned back time, it’d be fine and I’d be able to get more time, but. Also it’s heavily ironic that the one time I resolve to be quiet and pay attention, the cutscene doesn’t function correctly.)

I mean, we have all the time. You know what I’m going to do. I’m going to watch this cutscene online, because it is failing so badly. It should probably be on the walkthrough, right.

The one time that I try to pay attention to a cutscene. (I know, right??) It dies miserably. This game does not actually want me to know what the plot is. To be fair, most of that is my fault, but shush.
