I’m so proud of you all. I’ve played a few other games, and they really like panicking and causing a fuss. From what I hear, the server merge went really well. I didn’t expect them to give us the ability to choose which server to end up on (aside from the ones they were definitely closing), and the way the whole names thing was handled was honestly a work of genius and the best and most mature handled thing I’ve seen in a while.

Okay, yeah, I might be gushing just a tad. Ignore me.

We just have the best community, and there’s the whole thing of how I’m still not sure how the rumor system survived the transition—not that the framework isn’t in place, because it’s the same game so of course it is, but from what I hear different servers have spread different rumors and I’m not entirely certain which ones they kept. I’m really interested to see how my next experience playing ISO is going to be like.

Oh, also a shout out to Caol, who is awesome and let me keep our character’s name after a long discussion about our characters’ backstories. That’s right, that’s how they chose who kept the name, because, generally, they noticed that name conflicts mattered a lot more for some players than for others. When planning this, they asked players to post how they’d feel about naming changes, and those who felt more strongly about it got to keep it in cases of conflict. When both hadn’t posted or were equally unhappy about the idea, a GM-mediated discussion took place. At least, that’s what happened for us.

And no, I don’t know what will happen for Saki-senpai when she comes back from her hiatus. Ask her, not me.

(Nihil) Tower-I said I wouldn’t talk about the requirements. I kind of lied, but only in this case. Tower is only available to Reversed characters.

Disaster allows access to some of the most ridiculously powerful attack spells in game, of elements Almighty, Frei (Nuclear), and Mudo (Darkness). Revelation skills allow the character to see different types of vulnerabilities.

Specializations: Disaster, Revelation

(Eternal Cause) Judgment-When you gain this class, you choose Order or Chaos, and are from that point on immune to becoming wholly that one. You also gain bonuses on attack and defense against the type you chose.

Rebirth gives access to some of the strongest self-heals and self-buffs/self-removal-of-debuffs in game. Depending on your choice, you get Sword of Order or Sword of Chaos with extremely strong spells of that particular element.

Specializations: Rebirth, Sword of Order/Sword of Chaos

(Silver Tongue) Lovers-No Alignments can be at the Hate level. Any that currently are at that point are changed to ‘Dislike’ instead, and working to get these to ‘Neutral’ level does not adversely affect other Alignments now. I’m told for those who like to work with most Alignments (i.e. if you like the dialogue and talking parts of this game) this is really cool. It should come as no surprise that Saki-senpai ended up a Silver Tongue Spellslinger.

Choices has different effects depending on your Alignment, and the skills you can buy are different depending on Alignment. I’m not sure how different, but I’m getting research done on it by a friend.

Love Conquers helps you make friends, even among demonkind. You can, like the Emperor, talk to demons and get information, money, items, or even blessings from them. One spell can also help you with particularly troublesome NPCs.
