Okay, my least favorite episode of this entire thing? Turnabout Intruder. It would’ve been better as an Ace Attorney thing. And the quality was definitely less than the rest, but I don’t think episodes were as bad as people think they were (either that, or context/intent is the biggest part of making it bad). Turnabout Intruder was weird.
Deaths/injuries
First one: with spaceships. Second one: without. Injuries is the outer ring, deaths is the inner ring.

It’s still the most dangerous to be someone on a different ship (or overall just as part of the ship), especially deaths-wise. Red shirts do die more often than either blue or gold shirts in this season. Injuries-wise, though, it’s more dangerous to be a gold shirt than anything else (even the Other category!!!), which is mostly due to Chekov and Kirk getting themselves hurt. (Bones, Spock, and Scotty are also getting hurt a lot, so if you don’t end up dying, if you’re not one of the main officers, you’re probably not very likely to get hurt.)
Romance

The first one is the raw data; the second one is the data minus mind control and other coercion. (When taking into account the second part, Kirk, Bones, and Spock are fairly similar on numbers. This especially seems weird since it’s Spock.)
Overall, the season was definitely worse and some of the episodes were definitely odd (I’m not sure how I was supposed to feel about them). However, I don’t think a lot of the episodes were as bad as people think they were (maybe it was context, maybe I wasn’t paying enough attention?)
The show is so much better than I expected, but I'm also glad it took me so long to watch it, because I don't think I'd had enough knowledge to really appreciate it.
