actually a buffy|log horizon fusion would also be fascinating.  like, no Slayer, just a popular girl who secretly plays a lot of one game, so when they get pulled in she's the one who's got it together (also Giles denied it but he secretly plays on the "demon machines" too. probably for the game lore.)
