You look up. It’s Chie. She looks hesitant, and maybe a little bit concerned. “Did you and Yosuke have a fight?” You grunt; you’re feeling even less communicative than usual.
She sits beside you, and after a few minutes pass it’s clear she’s not going away.
“He was being a jerk,” you mutter, but unfortunately it’s not quiet enough and Chie catches it.
“Like that’s anything new,” she chuckles, and stops when she realizes you think it’s no laughing matter.
