At Midnight on a Rainy Night

Aon: This time on Aon’s Believe it or Don’t! This affects the real world. So, you have to be playing at midnight on a rainy night. It’s always rainy at the Alaya Shrine when it’s like this. If you’re at Alaya Shrine at midnight on a rainy night, you’ll see a ghostly image of a person. That person is your soul mate in the real world. Cool, huh? That or it might be a ghost coming to kill you. But probably not, right? Believe it, or don’t.
Affinity: Mr_Easy_Going, cut it out!!
J’dador: Calm down, Affinity. It’s pretty clear that the ghost thing is just added by Aon to freak you out. That being said, the soul mate thing is something I’ve heard somewhere else than Aon’s Believe it or Don’t, so I believe it.
Niron: I agree with J’dador, there’s no reason to panic, Affinity. My entire class was talking about playing on Rainy Nights to see their soulmate, and I doubt everyone would be doing it if people died. Also, nobody’s stupid enough to believe Aon when he’s just trying to freak people out. He’s good at rumor-gathering, though.
Aon: Hey! What’dya mean by ‘stupid enough to believe me’?
Niron: Aon, it’s pretty easy to tell when you’re just adding details to freak people out and when you’re actually being a decent storyteller—reporting what you heard, yeah, but in a way that makes people listen. That latest addition was really kind of lame and obvious.
Aon: I dunno if you’re actually being insulting or complimenting me
Niron: A bit of both, I guess?
Anonymous: Hey, it actually worked? I saw somebody anyway. Does anyone know if it’s repeatable? Id’ like to get a btter look at her so I know her when I see her
