Well, I spent a while waiting for people to get online.  I ended up getting in a group with one Aussie, a French guy, two Russians, and an American.  ...Somehow we managed to make it through the King in Yellow Event Dungeon.  We took some screencaps which i think the Aussie was going to post, so keep an eye out for those.  We ended up dying a lot and having to use the group mechanic's repair skill a lot.  Also it's really good that one of them had Samarecarm.  It was nuts but we had a blast.  My character on Axis Mundi is actually a Cat Hidden One, so it's really goofy but a ton of fun.  Seriously.  No clue how we made it.  We weren't even the recommended level.  We did have more healers than normal (we had a Star, Hierophant, and Justice), which helped.  Plus the Fortune with Death--man, that's some seriously awesome looking stuff going down, right there.

But I'm sure a lot of you who're clicking on this stuff are just here to create a character, not here to listen to me ramble on about a gameplay event you may or may not understand what's going on.  To the next two Types!  Away!

Kami-There are four different categories of Kami.

Kitsune-Kitsune are the most Human-like, with no especially strong or weak Traits.  One Trait has to be selected as the weakest Trait, however, and it costs double the points to raise that Trait.  Kitsune start the game with the Shapeshifting Skill (which allows a Human form with different Traits; this does not affect the limitation of the weakest Trait).  Kitsune can do a mission later to receive the Skill Foxfire.  Kitsune start the game with two other Skills from the chosen Class.

Tengu-Tengu have the lowest luck Trait of all Kami.  They start with two Skills and automatically have access to a more powerful version of the Emperor Swordplay skill pool.  They can then choose two more Skills from the chosen Class.

Ryuu-Ryuu have low Social Traits, but start the game with a Type-only innate Skill (Noble Bearing) which influences Social things somehow (haven’t tested) and the Shapeshifting skill (allows the character to have a Human form as well, which has different Traits).  Ryuu can then choose one more Skill from the chosen Class.

Nekomata-Nekomata must spend double the points to raise Social or Luck Traits after creating the character.  They also start with the Shapeshifting skill (read above, I think you’d have figuredit out by now) and two other Skills.  These skills may be chosen from a Class other than the character’s own, but this ability is not available after creating the character.

Wildren-As with the Kami, there are (so far) two different categories of Wildren.  They’re mainly present because, again, they’ve showed up in the video games.  They’re the least popular Type.  Both only have a choice of two Keywords:pet or stray.  Three times the points must be spent to raise the Communication Social Trait.  They can’t play Justice, Hermit, Sun, Emperor, Hierophant, or Chariot.  There’s a petition to allow them to play Chariot.

Dog-Other Social Traits are normal.  Dogs start with three Skills from their chosen Class.

Cat-Two times the points must be spent on other Social Traits to raise them.  One point in the Intelligence Traits gives you two raises, however.  Cats start with three Skills from their chosen Class.
