The Trash King’s hard to rattle. No matter the crazy unexpected card combination or surprise lurking around the alley corner, ‘Hana-chan’ tends to maintain his characteristic cool. It’d be a shock, for those in other universes, to see him as he is.
That being said, when he loses it, he loses it. He’s thrown off kilter, and that keeps him off-balance enough that it’s hard for him to recover. Occasionally he’ll be reduced to that babbling of younger years. Mostly it just comes out in a stream of gibberish, unintelligible to everyone including himself. It’s liable to transition into a full-on panic attack if someone doesn’t catch him.
It usually takes a ride to cool his head, but that isn’t easy—given the state of his nerves he’s likely to crash. If anyone’s around with a cooler head, they’ll hit the autopilot for him before he goes zooming off.
Surprisingly, a duel won’t get his head back in the game—he’s too out of it to pay attention and actually figure out what he’s doing.
